Gowns and aprons

About protective clothing & protective aprons

The purpose of protective clothing is to minimize the risk of bodily injury. You must define the requirements for what level of protection, comfort and mobility you need. Protective clothing against serious risks must also be designed so that you can quickly remove them if you have been exposed to chemicals or other risks. Protective clothing is marked with so-called EN standards to show what they protect against. Protective clothing that protects against several risks is thus marked with more EN standards.

Aprons are a protective apron that does not protect against serious risks but is used in more everyday tasks in healthcare, for example during patient visits to hospitals or for home care. Protective aprons provide some protection against body fluids and can be used to advantage with other products to provide greater protection, such as mouth protection and/or visor.
